2018 Year In Review: 232,073 Maths Lessons Taught, 214,776 Resources Downloaded And Almost 1,000 New Schools!

2018 has been an extraordinarily busy year for everyone here at Third Space Learning and things are showing no signs of letting up just yet! We’ve helped more schools than ever improve their target pupil’s confidence in maths, had thousands of teachers download our free resources, and had a huge number of eyes take a look at our blog, so if you were one of these people we want to say a huge thank you for being a member of the Third Space Learning family!

We know how busy the Christmas period is in schools, but we wanted to take a quick look at how schools across the country have helped make 2018 such an incredible year for TSL. We couldn’t have done it without you, so here is a brief run through of all of the things you have helped us achieve this year!

The Third Space Family Grew A Lot This Year, and In 2018 We Worked With 932 Schools & 18,130 Pupils

More and more schools sign up to our personalised, 1-to-1 tutoring each and every year, but 2018 saw this jump to new levels. We’ve now worked with almost 1,000 schools, and as a result of this 18,130 target pupils have enjoyed using our high-quality, personalised maths tuition.

From Seahouses to Salcombe, we’ve worked with primary schools all across the UK and were delighted to work with 932 schools in 2018.

This means that overall, our specialist maths tutors taught 232,073 lessons this year on everything from addition to telling the time, and they are raring to go again in the new term!

Highlights From Our New Schools

1 In Every 4 UK Primary Teachers Downloaded A Third Space Learning KS2 Maths Resource In 2018!

Whilst 1-to-1 tuition is our bread and butter here at TSL, our maths resources are also incredibly popular amongst the teaching community.

In 2018, almost a quarter of a million Third Space Learning resources were downloaded by members of the SLT, teachers and other educators to use in their schools, and with resources ranging from ready-made White Rose style lesson power points through to some Spooky Halloween Maths Activities, no matter what point of the year it is, Third Space has been there to provide some mathematical inspiration.

57,055 teachers downloaded 214,776 resources over the course of the year, and these are the three most popular downloads this year:

1. A set of 6 KS2 Maths SATs Practice Papers

In total, 832,369 blog posts were read on topics covering everything from multiplication to maths clubs, so if you haven’t read a TSL blog yet (other than this one), you might be missing out!

2018 is now coming to a close, and this means that it is time to take a step back and say thank you to all of the teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders that have made the Third Space Learning community so fantastic this year.

It’s time to finally sit back and relax after a very busy term, so make sure that you spend some time with family and friends and enjoy the Christmas break! We certainly will be, but rest assured that we will be back, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with new blogs, resources and of course 1-to-1 tuition for you in January.
