Founder & CEO
Team & Business Development Lead
Business & Office Coordinator
Tom is responsible for strategy, and making sure we have the right team, culture, cash and communications (as well as, unfortunately, denying the team the office puppy that they keep asking for!) He spends an increasing amount of his time building awareness and support for Third Space Learning in the education, social and technology sectors. He claims to play football in his spare time, but, judging by a recent office game, we're not sure this is true.
Lynn is responsible for finance (including, most importantly, in everybody's eyes - payroll) and legal matters. She started in the postgraduate sector and has regressed to primary education demonstrating an inverse relationship between her age and that of the learners she is involved with. Lynn played badminton and fenced for her university but now restricts her physical activity to ballet and much to her grown-up children's mortification, has been an extra on the stage with English National Ballet.
Constança studied Economics in Portugal but soon realised she was more interested in the behavioural side of it. She is also interested in Social Enterprises and is an On Purpose Fellow. Constança loves interacting with different cultures, having volunteered in Ghana and Brazil. She hates cooking, but loves eating! At Third Space her role is twofold: she looks after organisational development and project manages new business opportunities.
PJ works closely with Tom and Lynn to ensure the smooth running of business. She ensures the happiness of everyone in the office, be it through organising birthday cakes, water deliveries or a Christmas tree! Whilst studying English at St. Andrews she discovered that a love of food soon caught up to her love of books. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her in the kitchen trying out stuff that looked cool on Buzzfeed or getting the cat out from under her bed.
Gee is from Lithuania and has been working with us since early 2014. However, he’s been part of the Ruby on Rails community since August 2013. Gee helps solve complex technical problems and particularly focuses on the back-end. Outside of the office, he is an avid PC gamer and likes anime, fantasy and horror genres. While in the office, he hugs people. All the time. (True story!) He is a fan of 9gag and the internet sensation - Doge. Much wow.
Pritom is a London Boy. He studied Economics at University and was one of the first team members of Third Space Learning. Pritom loves technology and is responsible for ensuring that the intricate workings of the Product team run smoothly and efficiently whilst driving innovation. When he’s not working he loves football, cricket, his Playstation and beating anyone at Fifa!
James is from bonny Scotland and studied Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at University. He is one of our longest serving developers and has been working with Ruby on Rails since mid-2014. Outside of the office, he keeps his finger on the pulse of the numerous tech meetups that happen across the city. He is a very keen skier, DIY enthusiast and sometimes gets a scooter to work.
Toby arrived at Third Space with extensive experience of the start-up world having launched his own at university and teaching himself to code in the process. He has been working with Ruby on Rails since 2011. Toby's experience at early stage companies mean he has a valuable insight into start-up life, beyond simply being a superstar coder. When he isn't working or beating colleagues at Fifa, Toby is a keen football fan and festival goer.

Gabriele joined us after taking part in a coding Bootcamp in June 2015. Before moving to London, he studied Web Development in Florence and worked for nine months in Pisa as a front-end developer. Gabriele's role is to find the best solutions for the back and front-end sides of the platform, as well as research and implement new technologies. When he is not coding he’s out playing tennis, winning foosball matches or planning out his next trip.
Richard is responsible for Product (what to make, for whom, when), and ensuring the talented, diverse team of researchers, data scientists and technologists can turn our grand plans into reality. This draws on his experience of engineering and leadership spanning small start ups to behemoth multinationals. Outside of work, when his growing family allows it, he enjoys skiing, sailing and making things ranging in size from children's toys to houses.

Ellie is tasked with staying on top of all the communications we have with our schools to make sure their pupils are getting the most out of our one-to-one interventions. After studying Law and French at university, Ellie moved into the world of education and spent four years as a primary school teacher. She loves to run and is usually working towards her next half marathon. She balances this out with a love of baking, particularly anything involving chocolate.
Manvir has always enjoyed communicating and so his role at Third Space Learning, building relationships and being in constant contact with all of our schools, allows him to do this. After obtaining a degree in Economics with Management, he previously worked in FMCG and Finance environments, but it is the positive contribution of working in an Education based company that appeals to him. When he isn't working, he is an avid movie watcher and music festival-goer.
Catherine works with our new schools to make sure that they get the most out of Third Space Learning once they sign up with us. She studied Geography at Durham University and went on to join the Teach First programme, teaching maths in a secondary school in West London for two years. She loves skiing and is a keen traveller, and has been able to indulge her inner geographer by exploring volcanoes and waterfalls in Costa Rica.
Hannah works with our schools to ensure that they get the most out of Third Space Learning and that we are always learning and improving the experience for our schools and their pupils. Before joining Third Space Hannah was a fellow on Year Here, where she spent a lot of time researching inequality in education and social innovations around it. She loves food, netball, and escaping back to Somerset when she can.

Olly's life is a little darker during the period of the year that Strictly Come Dancing is off-air. To stave off the pain, he busies himself spreading the word about Third Space to schools that do not yet use us, while also ensuring the smooth running of thousands of lessons every week in the schools that have already included Third Space in their Maths strategy. Olly is northern, charming, eats too much and is currently on a health kick.
Shivani is responsible for making sure sessions run smoothly by guiding teachers with the technical set-up and solving any problems they may have. Mickel’s love for technology grew from a very young age. After finishing college he went on to pursue an apprenticeship within the IT sector. Joining Third Space has stirred up a love for helping children succeed through technology; which is his day to day responsibility. When he is not helping schools set-up he likes playing video games and spending time with friends and family.

He works hard, and with gusto, to ensure that his side of the room maintains its status as ‘Loudest Corner in the Office.’
Katie grew up in Suffolk and studied Philosophy at the University of York, and was lucky enough to sing in the York Minster.
