Percentage profit tells you how much money has been made over a particular period.Β
The amount of profit made can be calculated by subtracting the amount of money paid for an item, from the amount of money it was sold for.
Percentage profit can be calculated by dividing the actual profit by the original amount and multiplying it by 100.
Looking forward, students can then progress to additional number worksheets, for example a one number as a percentage of another worksheet or a Percentage Multiplier worksheet.
