Are you looking for online GCSE maths tutors to help your students achieve their target grades?
Some KS4 students may need extra help and focused support to build confidence for the rigorous GCSE maths exam. However, even for the most experienced maths teachers, providing personalised attention in a class of 30 can be extremely challenging. For less experienced or non-specialist teachers, this task is even more daunting.
The most consistently scalable approach to giving all your students who need it an online GCSE maths tutor is by using Skye, the AI tutor from Third Space Learning.
“We analysed the data for our GCSE pupils and found that students who had attended Third Space Learning sessions improved 1.19 of a grade on average – 0.45 more than those who didn’t have Third Space Learning sessions.”
Andy Appleford
Maths Director, Chorus Education Trust

“The diagnostic assessment is excellent as it’s enabled the tutors to focus on the knowledge the kids actually need. Their teachers have noted that their confidence has increased. They see it in the classroom when a question comes up and they’ll say ‘I know how to do that! I did it with my Third Space Learning tutor.'”

Is it worth getting a maths tutor?
Yes, getting a tutor can be highly beneficial, especially if it’s one-to-one. A one-to-one tutor provides personalised attention, targeting the maths lesson specifically at a student’s needs, gaps and misconceptions. Third Space Learning’s online maths tuition has been proven to accelerate progress and double attainment over a period of 14 weeks.
How can students improve their GCSE maths grade?
Students can improve their GCSE maths grade by working through lots and lots of practice GCSE maths questions, ideally supported by an online or face-to-face in-person maths tutor (although the latter are much more expensive). Take a look at our GCSE maths tuition programme to find out more.
How much does Third Space Learning cost?
In the past, private tutors were too expensive for many individuals and schools – but now, funding is available for schools to help all pupils reach their full potential through tuition. Third Space Learning’s online maths tuition has always been, on average, 50% more affordable compared to one-to-one interventions conducted by school staff and 56% cheaper than the average cost of one-to-one tutoring from other external providers. Now, with our AI tutor, the average cost of a one to one tutoring session is as little £3.50 per pupil, with many schools paying much less. We proud to be the most affordable online maths tutoring provider. See more on ai tutoring pricing.
Do you provide other subjects or grade levels for one-to-one tuition?
Third Space Learning’s online maths tutor has been trained only in primary and secondary school maths up to GCSE level. We are currently unable to offer A-level maths, further maths or English language or literature GCSE level tuition. As well as our school tutors we do have primary school maths tutors providing primary school tuition and AI tutoring support for the KS2 SATs.
