What partner schools and districts get

This isn’t a stripped-back grant version. Partner schools get the full Skye program, fully funded.

High-dosage: 3 spoken sessions per week, 30+ minutes each. Aligned to the evidence base for tutoring that accelerates growth.

Standards-aligned: Mapped to your state standards. Students work on the math they’re learning in class, not generic practice.

Real-time dashboards: Track student growth, session completion, and learning gains across your school or district.

Safe and compliant: Clever SSO and rostering. Fully FERPA and COPPA compliant. Data encrypted and stored in the US. No data used to train AI models.

A research partnership with Stanford and Cornell

This grant is part of a Gates-funded research collaboration with Stanford and Cornell. We’re looking to answer important questions about AI tutoring at scale. By joining, your district contributes to the evidence base that will shape AI tutoring for years to come.

What we’re researching

Can AI tutoring achieve the same outcomes as human high-dosage tutoring?

Do students stay motivated over time when working with an AI tutor?

Is AI tutoring accessible to students in an equitable way?

What we ask from partners

Aggregated school and district-level data to support the research

Teacher feedback during the program

Every partner gets a dedicated TSL program manager to support implementation
