Whole school resources
You decide which pupils to support and choose a weekly time slot. Lessons can take place from school or home, depending on your chosen pupils.
Each pupil begins with an initial assessment to diagnose their individual learning gaps and identify the best sequence of maths lessons for each pupil. This can be done at any point before their first session.
Lessons take place in our interactive online classroom and pupils communicate with their personal tutor via a shared screen and headset. We'll send out headsets free of charge before your first session.
You’re kept up to date with topics covered and progress made each week. Longer term progress is mapped over the term. As well as showing how your pupils are progressing, we also report on engagement and attitude.
Unlimited access to all Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teaching resources is included at no additional cost. This means you can target spending on individual pupils whilst still raising maths attainment for every child in your school.
The children love the programme and have become so much more competent in explaining the maths they do.
Angie Bailey
Deputy Headteacher, Giles Brook Primary School, Milton Keynes
The children I support need motivation to learn. This provides specific learning goals in liaison with their class teacher(s) with a baseline and final termly assessment to illustrate impact, a very child friendly approach to interventions.
This provides the opportunity for a large number of children to engage in bespoke maths tuition. The children are engaged throughout the session and are more willing to acknowledge their weaknesses with a stranger than they might be in the classroom with their peers.
Jane Powell
Assistant Headteacher, Barton Seagrave Primary School, Northamptonshire
I really like the way that the intervention can be tailored to support the needs of the individual and that the children are moved through the lesson at a pace that suits them.
Valda Varadinek-Skelton
Maths Leader, Eldon Grove Primary School, Hartlepool
1-to-1 for a good value price. Pupils enjoy working with their tutors - they describe them as lovely, friendly and helpful. Good range of sessions. Content of the sessions is appropriate and fits with the scheme of work we use in lessons.
It has really made a difference to our students. They have been motivated by a different way of learning than in the classroom. Their level of understanding is assessed and then built upon with lots of positive reinforcement. The 1-to-1 tutoring means that it can be tailored to their needs.
