"I think it's really good for those kids that are "invisible", the ones that are quiet and less confident and who sometimes cope by just taking a sneaky look at what their neighbour's doing and just writing the same thing as them. Or, those who don't pick things up until it's a bit late or have gaps from earlier years. That's what's really worked for us with the diagnostic assessment programme - it picks up gaps that you don't necessarily see if they're doing a bit of copying in class.
