Online Maths Tuition
Every pupil deserves to feel confident in their maths lessons, to be prepared with strategies and tools to tackle new concepts and answer questions.
Some pupils need more focused support than others to get there.
Give your target pupils opportunities to develop their understanding of maths, and practise the skills they’ve learnt through weekly online maths tuition with their own dedicated maths tutor.

Pupils then consolidate that learning on similar SATs questions to ensure they can apply these same strategies in a range of different contexts.

Personalised one to one support doesn’t have to add to staff workload – here’s how it works:
You choose which pupils to support, tell us the level they’re working at from year 3 to year 11 and choose when you’d like the tuition to take place.
This identifies individual gaps and student’s needs and informs their personalised maths programme right from the first lesson.
Pupils receive real time feedback from their personal GCSE maths tutor or primary maths tutor via a shared whiteboard-style screen and a headset. Tutors have the flexibility to adapt tutoring sessions to individual pupils’ learning style.
You’re kept up to date with content covered, tutor feedback and progress made over time.
Free access to our collection of primary maths resources and GCSE maths revision guides, downloadable worksheets and practice papers.

All of our online maths tutors hold or are working towards a University level degree in STEM or other maths-related subject.
46% of tutors have graduated with a BSC, MSC or equivalent maths degree and now work full time for Third Space Learning.
Tutors undergo multiple checks as part of their recruitment process; all have a DBS or DBS equivalent.
We’re so confident your staff and students will love the online maths tuition that we’ll give you 100% of your money back if you’re not happy within the first 6 weeks.
Which is the best online maths tuition?
We believe Third Space Learning is the best online tuition for maths because we use the power of technology, not only to connect expert maths teachers with children in the UK, but also to provide engaging online maths lessons that follow the national school curriculum for KS2, KS3, and KS4.
How much does the online maths tuition cost?
Online maths tuition from Third Space Learning is on average 50% cheaper than running one to one interventions with existing school staff. As a Dfe-approved Tuition Partner, schools can use their National Tutoring Programme to cover up to 60% of the cost of tutoring. Depending on your school’s contract, this means your school will have to cover less than £8.40 per pupil per session from your existing budget, such as Pupil Premium.
Do you offer A level tuition?
At the moment we are only able to offer online maths tuition to children studying at Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Our experienced tutors are given a progamme of maths tutor training to to enable them to work with primary school pupils, revising for SATs or entrance exams, and secondary students preparing for GCSE / iGCSE level exams. Lessons are suitable for all major exam boards and matched against OCR, AQA and Edexcel syllabus. Unfortunately we are unable to provide science tutors, A level maths tutors, or English tutors or indeed preparation for Further Maths at this stage.
Is online tuition better than face to face?
It depends on the individual. We took our maths tuition online because it enables us to provide the expert one to one guidance of a private maths tutor at a rate that makes it much more affordable for schools. Our online maths tutors work in every corner of the UK from Cardiff to Carlisle, which in-person tutoring services would likely not be able to achieve. We are also able to provide multiple tutors to work with multiple children (up to 15) at the same time to better fit a school’s timetable.
